One of our favorite annual events is right around the corner — the Kimball Arts Festival. This year, the event will be held August 12 to 14, right on Historic Main Street. This event is the largest fundraiser of the year for the prestigious Kimball Art Center. All admission fees will go to keep the organization’s exhibitions and programs free to the public. The city of Park City is currently in a friendly competition known as the “Ski Town Showdown” against Aspen, Colorado. The Ski Town Showdown is a challenge to determine which town can install the highest number of LED light bulbs and smart thermostats. This is the second year of the Showdown.
